Ok so I'm not sure what part of the country you live in, but here in St. Louis it has been simply glorious outside! It's just that time of the year... I wish that I could say that my toddler loves to wear hats (in the plural), but sadly he loves to wear one particular hat. A cloth leprechaun top hat from St. Patty's Day 2009. He even elected to wear it this year not on the everything green holiday, but rather the day before! It's amazing the things that we allow our children to be seen in public wearing in order to avoid the major catastrophe that would result from trying to leave the item at home. Now if I had a little girl then I know that she would just love to wear a hat from Marili Jean! What little girl wouldn't want to wear a hat that looks like this:

Like most children his age, my son is very independent. He likes to "attempt" to do things himself and be like the big kids.
