Three Yellow Starfish ***ENDED***

I have a confession to make... I would much rather shop for clothes for a little girl than a little boy. I'm in no way, shape, or form saying that I would rather have a little girl, because I LOVE my little boy and think he is the most awesome child in the whole wide world. That being said, boys clothes are sooooooo boring and blah! It's almost depressing when I go to shop for my little guy's clothes and see the limited selection available for him and then glance over at the massive little girl section! So I'm a sucker for little girls clothing in all it's cuteness. But when it's cute and MODERN then I'm even more sucked in. In my opinion Three Yellow Starfish has the most adorably modern pinafores I have ever seen!! They are all created out of the coolest looking designer fabric around and are reversible.

The owner sent me the Poppy Dot pinafore:

Aren't the fabrics amazing? At first I thought it would make a great baby shower gift...but then I decided that I just had to keep it, because one day I will have a little girl and this pinafore will be perfect for her! :)
Each pinafore from Three Yellow Starfish is so versatile, because they can be worn:

as a dress

or with jeans!

Look at this vintage look fabric...perfect for the winter holiday season!

At Three Yellow Starfish you can also find cute bloomers:
I'm sooooo excited about this giveaway, because the owner of Three Yellow Starfish chose for the winner to receive this awesome looking pinafore in Lantern Bloom fabric:

(both sides of the pinafore are being shown)
AND....
I actually personally know the designer of the fabric, Laura Gunn! How small is this world???

I am actually having fun with all of the newsboy caps and bright colors on my boy, but of course it is fun to dress a darling girl, too! Hmmm.

  31. Well, I agree with you that girls clothes are so much cuter, and I only have a daughter. My nieces and nephews are having children now though, and I have the most adorable 2 year old great nephew so I'm just happy to shop for or make little clothes for anyone again!!

  32. Those pinafores are soooo cute and would look precious on my 3 year old great niece. I have a little collection of the Lantern Bloom fabric line that I bought to make a wall hanging.

  34. Melissa McCoy= buying for girls is WAY more fun. But dressing boys is SO much easier. Pants, Shirt, Shoes, Done. Girls, it's bows, and tights and finding the matching this or that.

  43. well - i refuse to say it's more fun to shop for a girl! i have two boys, and i have shopped for them in both sides of the aisle - my younger son loved to wear dresses until he was five. my boys love color and pattern and texture, and we refuse to be limited to stripes and sports images - and no camo for us!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Jamie H-- I usually have more fun shopping for my girl, though if you're looking to design new patterns, there's probably a greater need for cute boys' stuff...

  45. Alida Bowles - can I say both?? no? okay Girl :)

  46. Nola Bird: Hum...shopping for a girl is easier and much more expensive, but I do love shopping for a boy because I love all the sporty items!
