Do you know what is 10 days from now? Earth Day! This year actually marks the 40th anniversary of the eco-friendly celebration. We all recognize the importance of our Earth and environment. Now I want you to do something for me. Go and take a look at your cleaning supplies. How many different types of cleaners do you have? I'll bet there's a lot! There's no need to be embarrassed. I'm a huge germaphobe, so I used to have tons of chemicals around my house. But do you even end up using all of those different cleaners? The ones that you do use...how long do they last? Use them up pretty quick don't you? Doesn't that make you feel kind of wasteful? I know that I absolutely hate to feel like I'm wasting money. Especially when I'm spending money on cleaners that I don't ever even use! At the same time, many of the chemicals in those cleaning products are harmful to the environment. That's double wasteful!!

Entry #6: Go to Activeion on YouTube and view at least one of the videos about Activeion. Tell us which video you watched and what you learned from it.
A few months back Activeion sent me their ionator HOM. Can I just tell you that I absolutely LOVE this product? Seriously I wish that I had the ionater HOM ages ago. Now we are cleaning and only using ordinary tap water to do so. That's a big money saver and great for the environment!
Another worry that I had with other cleaners was if the chemicals were safe to use around our son. Sure I do care about the environment, but I care much more about my child!
Since it's only tap water doing the cleaning then it's totally safe to use around kids! But how does it work to clean then? Well, first you start by charging the system:
Once it's charged you simply add tap water to the ionator HOM:
Then with a touch of a button the water sprays out of the nozzle (after being electrically ionized) and starts cleaning! Ionized water actually lifts dirt and kills germs at the same time. You then just need to wipe up the water from the now clean surface. So cool, right?
We use the ionator HOM all over the house: from bathrooms, to kitchen counter tops, to windows! One VERY lucky winner is going to receive an ionator HOM from Activeion!!!!! That's a $169 value!! It's okay to be excited about this giveaway guys! I'm excited for you! :)

jen gerwig-dively: I watched the Bill Nye video (how could you not?!) I don't think I ever heard that cleaning agents are essentially just water with chemicals added to them to make them "stick" to the dirt in order to clean.
